Health Certificate for Short-Term Students

Background and regulation

According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s regulation, international short-term students (staying in Taiwan for more than 3 months and less than 6 months; non-degree students) are required to submit the following document and do x-ray exam within 14 days from the day of arrival.  

Proof of Positive Measles and Rubella Antibody or Measles and Rubella Vaccination Certificates (page 2 of Health Certificate for Short-Term Students)

Situation 1:

If you have already been vaccinated against measles and rubella in your home country and have the certificate of immunization, bring the English certificate to ROC Embassy/ Mission in your home country for authentication. 

Situation 2:

If you have already been vaccinated against measles and rubella in your home country, but do not have any certificate of immunization, please do the antibody tests in your home country. Page 2 of Health Certificate for Short-Term Students needs to be signed by the doctor and authenticated by ROC Embassy/ Mission in your home.   

Situation 3:

If you've never been vaccinated, please have the vaccination before coming to Taiwan and bring authenticated vaccination certificate (English version) to Taiwan.

Chest X-ray for Tuberculosis Report (page3): students arriving 13 days before CGU Health Exam in September and February, X-ray exam will be included in CGU Health Exam. For other students, our office will make an appointment with for you.
